Microchanneling is a skin rejuvenation treatment that uses a stamping device to uniformly puncture the skin while infusing the deeper layers of the skin with a stem cell serum.
This prompts the skin to create more elastin and collagen, and go into “let’s create fresh skin healing mode.”
Downtime is minimal - and you can expect smooth, plump, firm, glowy skin, reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, faded dark spots, and tightened pores.
At Neu Skin, microchanneling is done using the Procell system — a more controlled, less invasive method than traditional microneedling that also allows for the stem cell infusion, which means a gentler treatment and quicker recovery without sacrificing results.

The main difference between microchanneling and microneedling is in the tool used, and the method of stimulating collagen production.
Both puncture the skin with tiny needles, but microchanneling uses a stamping device at a consistent depth, while microneedling uses a roller at adjustable depths.
Procell microchanneling also infuses a stem cell serum while the stamping is happening, so those healing factors are getting infused into the deeper layers of the skin to create quicker and more noticeable results. That’s where a lot of the magic happens, and a big differentiator between the two treatments.
Using a traditional microneedling roller can cause more trauma to the skin, can be less sensitive-skin friendly, and usually involves more downtime. It can be a good choice for those needing to address more severe skin issues like deep acne scars or wrinkles.

BOOK A SESSION
A microchanneling session takes 30-45 minutes, and is mildly uncomfortable, at most. The uniform stamping and shallow depth of the tiny filaments feels like light scratching or tingling. We'll infuse your stem cell serum during, apply after, and send you home with some to use over the next few days.
The best part! Microchanneling doesn't have much downtime at all. You'll be good to go in 24 hours max, most see any redness or swelling go down in 4-8 hours.
For the first 90 minutes after Procell microchanneling, we have you keep your skin completely bare and untouched. Over the next three days, you'll apply your growth factor serums, wash gently, and apply sunscreen while strictly avoiding workouts, makeup, and active ingredients like retinol.

No, Microchanneling does not hurt. The short and fine needles (smaller than a human hair) are designed so that you barely feel the punctures happening. Most clients say it feels like a peice of velcro moving around - like light tingling and prickling.
You'll see initial results after a few days, and the full potential of the treatment at around the 2 week mark. How many, and how often depend on what types of issues we're treating - but typically, 3-5 sessions spaced around 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. When you purchase a package of 3 treatments, you get the 4th free!
You can wear makeup after 24 hours. We call the first 90 minutes the "golden window" where nothing, and we mean nothing, touches the skin.
Yes, Microchanneling is safe for sensitive skin, and it's one of the most loved things about this treatment. It's a great option for those looking for skin rejuvenation without using lasers or chemical peels which can sometimes be harsh on sensitive skin.
